8 adorable pictures from Oakland's Dog Parade

More than 800 dogs took over the warning track at O.co Coliseum before Friday night's Cardinals-Athletics game. Tony La Russa, who managed both teams and is involved with the Bay Area-based group Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) was on hand to lead the parade.

The event benefited a good cause -- Dogs4Diabetics, a non-profit organization which trains dogs to detect low blood glucose in people and alert their family members.

And let's not forget producing incredibly cute dog photos. That cause was benefited as well:
