A behind-the-scenes look at Josh Reddick and Brandon Inge preparing to hit Coco Crisp with a pie

Yes, this post is going to talk about a guy whose name sounds like a dessert getting smacked in the face wih a dessert. You've all been warned.

Sunday afternoon, the Oakland A's completed a somewhat unexpected four-game sweep of the New York Yankees, after Crisp smacked a game-winning single in the bottom of the 12th inning. His teammates, Josh Reddick and Brandon Inge, must have anticipated a clutch hit because they immediately ran back to grab some cream pies that were already being prepared in the tunnel.

Not to be too critical, but come on, if we had a guy named Coco Crisp on our team, we'd get a bit more creative with our celebrations. We're not saying they should have started baking hours before (though a nice summer fruit and chocolate chip crisp would be have been delectable), but would having a carton of milk and a box of Cookie Crisp hanging around be too much to ask for?
