A foul ball hit the A's broadcast booth and snapped the broadcasters back to attention

We've all been in a situation where our minds start to wander. Maybe it's near the end of the school day or a late afternoon at work ... the point is, it's happened.
That can happen at a ballgame, too. As A's radio play-by-play announcer Vince Cotroneo found out during Monday's 6-5 win over the Red Sox, the ball has a way of finding you when your attention starts to wander.

Cotroneo wasn't zoning out or daydreaming. He was just looking up some information to be used in his broadcast. Still, the baseball seems to have a sense for finding people whose attention wanes. Thankfully, the ball hit harmlessly off the window frame and -- presumably -- into the hands of a lucky fan below.
