A dragonfly flew dangerously close to a Jered Weaver pitch and lived to tell the tale

Remember those old math problems in school, the type involving two trains moving at different speeds asking you to calculate at what point they'd pass each other?
The same thing basically happened in real life during Monday's Angels-A's game in Oakland thanks to a confluence of angles and velocities, this time with a Jered Weaver pitch and a dragonfly subbing in as the trains. With Weaver throwing an offering to Joey Wendle, the dragonfly (obviously blissfully unaware of the imminent danger it was in) casually floated across the space between the mound and the plate and juuuuuust avoided disaster:

Here's hoping that dragonfly uses this new lease on life to do something big with its remaining days.
