With Friday night's 3-0 win over the A's, the Rangers officially clinched the American League West crown for the second year in a row. Goggles were worn. Gatorade was spilled. There was much rejoicing.
After such a late night and with the postseason looming, Texas understandably gave some regulars the day off on Saturday afternoon -- regulars like Adrián Beltré. But if we know anything about Beltre, it's that he's the ultimate competitor. He's not built to simply sit back and relax while his teammates play. He wants to help in any way he can. And while he may not be out on the field, he can still put himself to good use -- like, say, by helping out with defensive alignments:
