Adrian Gonzalez heroically saved Clayton Kershaw from a foul ball

Clayton Kershaw's time in the visitors dugout at Chase Field this weekend has been, in a word, tumultuous. On Friday night, he had himself a bit of fun (OK, a lot of fun) at the expense of Baxter the Bobcat. On Saturday night, however, things took a different turn.
In the bottom of the first inning of the Dodgers-D-backs matchup, Paul Goldschmidt popped a pitch high into foul territory. The ball sailed over toward the Dodgers ... and right at Kershaw.
Enter Adrián González: First baseman, teammate, hero.

Making an impressive catch at the dugout railing, Gonzalez saved his teammate from the precipitously falling baseball (and from suffering Ryan Zimmerman's fate). Consider the day -- and Kershaw -- saved.
And we're pretty sure that by baseball law, Kershaw has to carry Gonzalez's equipment bag on the trip back to Los Angeles. It's only right.
