After chipping his tooth, Aaron Judge proceeded with caution in his postgame celebration
Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is a good teammate: He is known for greeting his teammates at the dugout entrance after each defensive inning. However, Thursday night, he learned that one can be too good a teammate when he chipped his tooth in a joyous celebration of walk-off win.
The Yankees beat the Rays Saturday, 5-4, on a Brett Gardner walk-off single and this time, Judge exercised a bit more caution during the team's celebration:
Thanks to his makeshift mouthguard, Judge did not suffer any dental damage this time around. Hopefully with this new, cautious approach, Judge can continue to revel in his teammates' joy while avoiding personal harm.
