Pujols' rare achievement came in the top of the first on Wednesday. The last known sighting of such a precious relic was on July 10, 2010, when the Astros beat the Cardinals 4-1 and people were still complaining about the end of Lost.

The hit also brought in Mike Trout for his 100th run of the season the Angels put the rout on against the Rangers. Pujols added a single and a double in six plate appearances, falling a homer shy of the cycle.
