An electrohouse-loving rodent was at the NLCS to cheer on the Giant5
Weston Johnson is a fan of two things -- the San Francisco Giants, and Toronto producer/performer of electronic music Deadmau5. The San Rafael, Calif. native was featured once before on Cut4 back in April, and he was back at AT&T Park for Game 2 of the NLCS.
Johnson made the giant head out of papier-mache and duct tape, and looks to have upgraded to an official-looking "SF" logo from a more DIY-style rendition. What kind of reactions does he get when he walks around in the park?
“’Let me get your photo,’ all day," he said. "A lot of people think it's Mickey Mouse, but it's all good.”
That sounds like a pretty grittily rebooted version of Mickey Mouse, which I would pay good money to see, but that's beside the point. When asked his thoughts about the music at the yard, Johnson/Giantmau5 said, "It's alright. I'd like to hear some Deadmau5, but you know …”
I do know -- that that's an awesome, and definitely unique, way of expressing your fandom.
