Inspired by his Mike Trout hat, an Angels fan coolly barehanded a Nelson Cruz line-drive homer

The Angels employ Mike Trout, a young man who roams the outfield at the Big A making flatly ridiculous catches on a regular basis. Sometimes, his throws draw gasps from everybody, while his otherwordly hitting skills set him apart from the rest most other times.
Because he's so good, the Angels fashioned a Trout cap complete with a stuffed Trout (as in, the fish) protruding from the center back in 2013:

Naturally, you can spot more than a few of them at any given Angels game, such as Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Mariners
Nelson Cruz stepped up and crushed a line-drive homer that scaled the left-field wall and was effortlessly speared by one fan in said Trout-themed headwear:

I mean, it's pretty easy to see this happening mere innings after Trout pulled this off in left-center:

MLB.com Real-Time Correspondent Derek Hernandez caught up with the fan, Adrian Flores of Santa Ana, Calif., who was at the game with Andrea Govea, also of Santa Ana, for the video atop this post and a photo-op with his prize:

Clearly, it was fate for this fan to wear his Trout cap and sit in this seat on this fateful evening. There's no doubt he's inspired by his hero's play. As we all are, every day and every night.
If only we all had the privilege of wearing that glorious hat.
