Bill Murray is set to star in a new series exploring the Minor League parks of America

Bill Murray's support for our national pastime is well-documented. In addition to being a diehard Cubs fan, the actor also has a hand in two different organizations: He serves as part-owner and "team psychologist" for the independent St. Paul Saints and part-owner and "Director of Fun" for the Class A Charleston RiverDogs, positions he treats with the seriousness and rigor they deserve.
Starting next week, though, Murray is taking his baseball love affair on the road: He and his brother, Brian Doyle-Murray, will explore the Minor League ballparks of America as part of their new show, "Extra Innings." And if the trailer is any indication, it's exactly as charmingly weird as you'd expect:

Bill Murray & Brian Doyle Murray's - Extra Innings

Join Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray starting 11/20 as they wander the Minor League ballparks of America, mingle with the locals, heckle a few players, and maybe even catch a bit of the game. Nobody does nothing better than these two.

Behind-the-scenes access, groundskeeping shenanigans and the occasional heckling -- it's all here. The Murray brothers even co-wrote and performed the theme song you hear above, along with former David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer. The first episode of "Extra Innings" will premiere Nov. 20 on Facebook Watch.
