Bill Nye was at Safeco Field Friday to throw a first pitch ... OF SCIENCE

Bill Nye, whose educational TV series/paragon of '90s nostalgia was produced and filmed in Seattle, took part in the pregame festivities before the Angels-Mariners game on Friday. He even had an M's jersey with "SCIENCE GUY" on the back -- and was, of course, wearing a bow tie underneath it.

Nye threw a solid first pitch, and also busted out some awesome dance moves on his way to the mound:
