Little Ferris Bueller plays hooky to watch Jose Bautista try to hit an ALCS home run

Blue Jays fans skips school to watch Joey Bats HR

Jose Bautista and the Blue Jays already have a few monster home runs and epic innings under their belts, but it's going to take more of the same to get them past the Royals as Kansas City held a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5 of the ALCS on Wednesday.

Blue Jays fans were doing their part, though, turning out to pack Rogers Centre and cheer on Joey Bats and Co. regardless of any prior obligations they may have arranged for themselves. One young fan even fancied himself a Ferris Bueller, skipping school to attend Game 5 and (hopefully) get to witness Joey Bats go yard.

If Joey Bats hits that homer, make sure to hit the books! Let's go @BlueJays! #ComeTogether

If Marcus Stroman can get away with watching David Price pitch during class, this kid can surely miss a day of school to watch his team's first postseason in his lifetime.

The Blue Jays wound up winning the game, 7-1.
