It's the height of the summer, which means the sun is making its presence known -- especially during baseball games in the early afternoon. And in the fourth inning of Thursday's Orioles-Yankees game in the Bronx, the burning hot fiery ball of mass was just chilling in the sky, watching a Chris Davis fly ball sail toward left fielder Brett Gardner. Gardner battled the sun for his right to catch said fly ball. Gardner lost said battle.

Davis ended up with a ground-rule double and the sun tallied another victim to its name.
