Kris Bryant put his matchmaking skills to work and helped a young fan get a date to prom

Kris Bryant wears many hats (well, just the Cubs cap, but this is a metaphor so work with us). He's a third baseman, an outfielder, a Lyft driver, a social media maven, an undercover college student and an ambassador for the city of Las Vegas. Turns out he's a matchmaker too, because he recently helped a young fan get a date to prom:

The fan caught up with Bryant ahead of a Cubs Cactus League game over the weekend and asked the reigning NL Rookie of the Year for a hand in asking another young fan to prom. She, of course, said yes, but in all caps because she was presumably (and understandably) very excited to be asked to prom by proxy Kris Bryant:

As if getting to meet Bryant in the flesh and getting a yes to prom wasn't enough, the fan also got to snap a selfie with Ben Zobrist as he basked in his 15 minutes of fame:
