Celebrate Mother's Day with the cutest photos of players with their moms

Moms have a difficult job. Not only do they have to bring us into the world, but they are relied on for love, kindness, emotional support and, of course, lunch money.
If you're an athlete, chances are your mother did a fair amount of shuttling you back and forth to practice for decades, too.
On Mother's Day weekend, Major League Baseball came together to wear pink uniforms, caps and cleats to honor Mom.

But for some, that wasn't enough. The Marlins put 'Mom' on the mound:

Marcus Stroman left a message on his cleats and Francisco Peña hit two homers for dear ol' Mom.
Plenty wanted to share adorable photos, too.
Delino DeShields knew he was going to be following in his father's footsteps -- literally. But he also knew he wouldn't be there if not for Mom:

Where would Anthony Rizzo be without his Momma? He knows: Nowhere.

Matt Andriese made sure to thank his Mom for all the sacrifices she made:

Mookie Betts remembered that his Mom is there for him all the time:

Jerry Blevins remembered that when his Major League dreams were just that, it was his mother who fostered those hopes:

Jason Kipnis honored the woman who doesn't care what his batting average looks like:

Dellin Betances may tower over his mother, but he still loves her, too:

And if you want a full gallery of players with their Moms, the Twins have you covered:

As do the Orioles:

Thanks to Rangers prospect Jose Trevino, we've also got the most terrifying Mother's Day photo possible:

Drew Storen took the opportunity to give thanks to two Moms:

Christian Yelich gave his Mom a special shout-out:

Mike Trout's mother, Debbie, is also feeling the love this Mother's Day:

Even Screech, the Nationals' mascot, brought his Mom to the ballgame:

In Kansas City, Orioles slugger Chris Davis hit a homer in front of his mom -- not a bad gift, really:

Meanwhile, in the Bronx, the Astros' Yuli Gurriel expressed his appreciation for his mother with a special message on his eye black:

Members of the Braves shared some great stories about their Moms in a fun clip:

While various Reds talked about Mom's cooking (since there's rarely anything better!):

And Yoenis Céspedes shared a warm photo of him with his Mom:

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms everywhere!
