Hyun-Jin Ryu made a great play on a comebacker, much to Clayton Kershaw's amusement

On the mound, Clayton Kershaw only has one mode: intense. His focus can be so steely he won't even spend any time dealing with benches-clearing incidents.
When he isn't pitching, though, Kershaw has fun. He answers dugout phones on replay reviews and generally has a good time out there. With fellow lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu on the hill for Thursday's 7-2 win over the Marlins at Dodger Stadium, Kershaw had plenty of time to actually take in the game as a spectator.
So when Ryu -- who's been known for some above-the-cuff defensive plays of late -- sprang off the mound on a comebacker struck by Dee Gordon, spearing the gounder with an athletic jolt and firing to first for the out, Kershaw couldn't help but be impressed:

And with good reason -- that's probably the only way to retire the speedy Gordon on that kind of play.
