Michael Kopech and Thyago Vieira both struck out batters with unstoppable 101-mph heat

The future of the fastball is blurry -- literally. With fastball velocity rising across the league in recent years, the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on Sunday showed that there are at least two pitchers who look to keep the trend going: White Sox No. 2 prospectMichael Kopech and Mariners No. 10 prospect Thyago Vieira. 
Facing his organizational teammate, Yoán Moncada, in the top of the third, Kopech -- who uses some offbeat offseason training programs to maximize his heat -- wound up and tossed some easy 101-mph cheese.

And then in the seventh, Vieira and his goggles also hit 101-mph to easily dispatch Zack Collins -- another White Sox prospect:
