The Indians' record-tying 20th straight win flashed Lindor's skills and Kluber's dominance

Cleveland won its 20^th straight game on Tuesday night -- defeating the Tigers, 2-0. They're now tied with the 2002 A's for the longest win streak in American League history. With a leadoff home run to start the party and a dominant outing by Corey Kluber, the team didn't waste any time putting numbers on the board. Here are some of the highlights from the Indians' historical night.
Francisco Lindor's lead-off home run
Francisco Lindor smacked a lead-off home run off Matthew Boyd, putting the Indians on the board at the bottom of the first. This was Lindor's 30^th home run of the season.

… And his glove
Lindor also showed off his defensive skills when Bryan Holaday hit a chopper up the middle. He snagged the ball stretching with his glove side and did a quick spin move to get the out at first base on a one-hopper at the top of the fifth.

Kluber's pitching performance

Prior to Tuesday night's game, Cleveland starters were 17-0 with a 1.84 ERA during the streak. Kluber got the start on the bump for the Indians and he was sensational. The righty pitched a shutout against Detroit -- his third of the season -- and he now sits at a 16-4 record on the year.
That was wild

In the sixth inning, a wild pitch by Drew VerHagen sent a ball into the dirt. Before Holaday had a chance to react, Carlos Santana, who was on third, took advantage and scored -- giving the Indians a 2-0 lead.

Yes way, Jose

With one out in the top of the ninth, Ian Kinsler hit a grounder to second baseman Jose Ramirez who laid out to make a play and get him out at first base, keeping the bases empty and getting one step closer to victory.
Not only are the "Windians" now tied with the 2002 A's for the American League record, but they are only the third MLB team since 1900 to win 20-plus straight games.
