The B.O.A.R.D.: It's Jose Altuve's world, we're just living in it

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
The ALDS opened on Thursday, and it went exactly as we all expected it to go: Cy Young candidate Chris Sale allowed seven runs against Houston and Trevor Bauer took a no-hitter into the sixth inning against the Yankees. Classic baseball! So predictable!
With the top two AL seeds coming strong out of the gate, it's becoming clear that both Houston and Cleveland will start to become regulars on the B.O.A.R.D. as October rolls on. Cleveland's shutout of the Yankees was quite the statement, but was it enough to top José Altuve's historic performance against Sale and the Sox? Check out the video above to find out.
