Recalling the Astros' previous Division Series win -- Chris Burke's 18th-inning walk-off in 2005

On Monday, the Astros advanced to the ALCS with a dramatic 5-4 win over the Red Sox in Game 4 of the ALDS presented by Doosan, where they'll face either the Indians or the Yankees. 
Houston advancing past the Division Series has been a long time coming, especially after they fell just short in 2015, losing in five games to the Royals. In fact, it's been 12 years since the Astros (then still in the National League) had a chance to win the pennant.
In a fun twist of fate, the Astros' previous Division Series clinch back in 2005 also occurred on Oct. 9 -- and came after a similarly dramatic, back-and-forth Game 4 that ended after one mighty swing of the bat from Chris Burke:

Yes, Chris Burke -- who wound up with just 23 homers over the course of his six-year MLB career. But that one, which ended a marathon contest with the Braves in absolutely epic fashion, came in the 18th inning.
Also epic was their comeback earlier in the game, storming back from a 6-1 deficit in the eighth inning. A Lance Berkman grand slam and a Brad Ausmus solo shot in the ninth tied things at 6-6, where the score sat until Burke's blast off Joey Devine gave Houston a 7-6 win.
It was one of the more wild nights in Minute Maid Park history. What might these Astros have in store now that they're set to battle for the AL pennant? We'll find out soon enough.
