The Astros acquired Gerrit Cole on Saturday, sending four players to the Pirates. One of the players in the deal was pitcher Joe Musgrove, who came to the Astros organization in 2012. He will now make his way to Pittsburgh, but not before he wrote a heartfelt, handwritten note to thank the team and fans for creating memories he will hold on to for the rest of his life.
Musgrove posted a picture of the note on his Twitter account that had an updated "@ItsbuccnJoe59" handle:

"From top to bottom, this organization treated my family and I with the highest level of respect," he wrote … "The Houston Strong will always have a special place in my heart."
Musgrove adds he is excited to meet his new teammates this spring and use his experience to help the Pirates "build something special."
A very classy move, Joe.
