Chase Field server gets chance to thank Jim Joyce for life-saving CPR
On August 20, longtime Chase Field employee Janie Powers suffered a heart attack in the hallways below Chase Field.
Luckily, umpire Jim Joyce was walking past as Powers went into cardiac arrest. Joyce sprung into action, performing life-saving CPR.
On Friday, Joyce returned to Chase Field for the first time since the incident, giving Powers an opportunity to show her appreciation to the veteran umpire.
