Chris Sale spent his time in the dugout productively: He threw and caught water in a cup

Ask any starting pitcher and they'll say it's the preparation between starts that's responsible for their success. It's the bullpen sessions, the outfield running, the exercise bike that makes or breaks their gamedays. But Chris Sale apparently knows the one weird trick that doctors hate: He throws water in the air and catches it with his cup. 
Unfortunately for Sale, his secret was revealed during the Red Sox's 5-3 loss to the Rays on Sunday as the cameras caught him in the middle of his dugout "workout."

It's like a mix of paddle ball and something from "The Karate Kid." Now, whether this reveal means every pitcher will turn into a Gumby-like ace, we'll just have to wait and see.
