Clayton Kershaw decided fielding his position with his back to home plate might be fun

Kershaw makes no-look, behind-the-back stab.

Clayton Kershaw has been the best pitcher in baseball -- and one of the best players on the planet, period -- for years now. He hasn't posted an ERA above 3 since his rookie season in 2008 (!), and last year he became the first pitcher to take home the NL MVP since Bob Gibson (!!). 

So, yeah, baseball comes pretty easily to him. And we guess Kershaw's just getting bored with the whole thing now, because he's started throwing challenges at himself to keep things interesting. Case in point, he apparently no longer needs his eyes:

A little bit of luck? Yeah, probably, but when your slider is so nasty it inspires GIF-laden paeans, you get the benefit of the doubt.
