Cubs catcher Welington Castillo sails a bat into the stands, makes one fan's day

Baseball bats are really cool. They make a really satisfying sound, former basketball players love carrying them and they are great tools with which to fight aliens.

When they come flying toward you at a ballgame, however, they aren't so cool.

Unless you're the one to grab it and pose.

This fan ended up with Cubs catcher Welington Castillo's bat after he lost his grip on the lumber, sailing it into a walkway several rows behind the home dugout.

Thankfully, no one got hurt, although Moises Alou contends that he might have been able to get to it if not for the fan.
