Because this weekend is the USA's birthday, the Cut4Cast is about all things American. The Nationals added a new racing president to their lineup, but are there any other former Commanders-in-Chief they should have considered? And which founding father would have been the best at baseball? Perhaps most importantly, which current MLB-er should consider a run for the White House?

This week, Dakota Gardner, Gemma Kaneko and Ian Kay pooled their collective political intellect to figure out the answers to these questions (and would like to offer their campaign services to any prospective candidates but especially Andrew McCutchen). Disclaimer: As you'll discover in the pop quiz, at least one of them doesn't know all of the words to the national anthem.

If you want to skip around, here's a guide to the episode:

4:55 -- Cut4 Pop Quiz

7:40 -- Which other Commanders-in-Chief should join the Racing Presidents?

16:49 -- Which founding father would you want if you were putting together a baseball team?

23:28 -- Which current Major Leaguer do you think would make the best President of the United States?

If you listen, you'll find out why we said things like this:

Dakota: It is the official stance of the Cut4Cast that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

Ian: Can we take off these powdered wigs we've been wearing?

Gemma: I don't think you can be a knight and the President at the same time, I don't think that's allowed.

Ian: We're long overdue for a president with a neck tattoo.
