Happy National Jersey Day to one and all! It's a day to celebrate the fashion and style we all love in Major League Baseball's uniforms. In honor of this great holiday, the Cut4 Staff had a jersey-centric conversation on this week's episode of the Cut4Cast. In it, Dakota Gardner, Gemma Kaneko and guest Dan Wohl shared their favorite MLB uniforms, and discussed the history of some of baseball's more creative choices.

Additionally, the team discussed which retro jerseys they'd most like to own, as well as what styles they hope to see on the jerseys of the future.

If you want to skip around, here's are the spots where you can delve in:

4:15 -- What is your favorite MLB uniform?

14:00 -- Which is your favorite set of retro uniforms?

26:30 -- What do you hope to see in the uniforms of tomorrow?

And, if you're curious, you can find out exactly why we said these things:

Dakota: "We were able to send you the private Cut4 jet ... oh, you're right, it's a zeppelin. I forgot about that. We sold the plane."

Gemma: "So, what you're saying is that you wish we were still a colony?"

Dakota: "We were, in fact, voted The Best Sports Podcast Hosted by Two Theater Majors by the awards that I just invented."

Dan: "I find the fauxback trend to be somewhat odd, but mostly in an uncanny valley type way -- just because it contradicts my understanding of reality which kind of unsettles me."
