Darryl Strawberry is currently having the vacation of a lifetime in Israel
Mets legend Darryl Strawberry is currently making his way across Israel and the region on what seems to be the vacation of a lifetime. Based on a series of videos and pictures he's posted to his Instagram account, the former number one overall pick appears to be having a ton of fun.
Here he is with the old city of Jerusalem and the Dome of The Rock in the background.
For the Mets fans who imagined Strawberry wearing a kippah, this next picture is for you.
Strawberry was one of the most athletic players in baseball during his career, so it was probably fair to assume the man could dance. Here he is participating in the hora, a traditional Jewish dance circle usually carried out at weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and other celebratory events.
I'm sure Strawberry has a very busy schedule over there, but maybe he can carve out some time to visit some Israeli little leaguers like the Israel World Baseball Classic team did last year.
