David Alan Grier takes over Yankees roll call

The Bleacher Creatures welcomed another celebrity guest to their stomping grounds on Monday evening as comedian/actor David Alan Grier joined Section 203 in Yankee Stadium’s roll call tradition.

Baseball has always been special to Grier -- his career began with him portraying Jackie Robinson in the Broadway musical The First. Some 30 years later, the actor found himself as a special guest in a very unique baseball tradition.

Known as a master of impressions, we asked Grier if he had any baseball impersonations up his sleeves. The result was a one-liner of Slammin' Sammy Sosa. Let's just say the master did not disappoint.
