David DeJesus tries to become the first player to steal left field
There are many records to break in baseball -- hitting streaks, home run totals or most consecutive at-bats without a base hit. And during Tuesday's Rays-Red Sox game, David DeJesus attempted to tackle a much-sought-after, not-much-talked-about feat: The steal of left field.
Quickly, the Rays outfielder realized he may have bitten off more than he could chew and scampered back to the much more ordinary steal of second base. Fair effort, though. Someday, if we hope hard enough, it'll happen.
