David Ortiz celebrated Father's Day and treated himself to his second stolen base of the year

David Ortiz had himself a pretty good Father's Day (Papi's Day?) 2016. The Red Sox topped the Mariners, 2-1, his son D'Angelo was at Fenway Park to help him celebrate, and Ortiz even decided to give himself a gift in the seventh inning:

Yes, Big Papi stole his second base of the season on Father's Day. Some dads spend their days barbecuing or telling an endless number of rock-solid dad jokes. Ortiz helped himself to second base.
It was the 17th stolen base of Ortiz's career, and it makes 2016 only the third season in which he stole more than one base. After stealing his first of the year back in April, Ortiz probably figured Father's Day was as good a day as any to get his second. And after M's reliever Edwin Diaz intentionally walked him with two outs, why wouldn't he take second?
Although according to Ortiz, he didn't give it all that much thought: "I'm not an expert, I just look and I run," he told MLB.com's Deesha Thosar after the game. And if anything, we might see Big Papi swipe a few more. The fans gave him a standing ovation after the steal, and now he's feeling empowered.
"It motivated me to steal more bags now. It was great, it's fun. The fans just enjoy watching all of us," Ortiz said.
Earlier in the game, Ortiz described what makes Father's Day special to him: "Today's a day when you wake up, and first thing you do is have [D'Angelo] come in and tell you, 'Hey dad, happy Father's Day.' You know, it means a lot to me."
Another way to make Father's Day special: Stealing another base at the age of 40.
