David Ross upstaged Ryan Dempster during his own Cubs Convention talk show

Sure, Jimmy Fallon got to host the Golden Globes and Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the Academy Awards, but the greatest hosting honor was reserved for late night's brightest star -- Ryan Dempster, who kicked off the Cubs Convention on Friday night.
In his third annual late-night show (he debuted "Friday Night with Ryan Dempster" in 2015, and performed again in 2016), he interviewed such celebrities as Joe Maddon, Theo Epstein and Ben Zobrist … but we have to say, we think David Ross stole the show.
Grandpa Rossy took a page out of Fallon's book and wrote some "You're Welcome" notes -- not "Thank You" notes, because, in his own words, he's "played the humble card, and [he's] sick of it."

Maybe you saw Anthony Rizzo and Kyle Schwarbersing "Lean on Me" last week. but it turns out they've got nothing on Ross when it comes to singalong crowd work:

Look, he's probably singing "Go Cubs Go," but let's all just imagine he's debuting the first track off his mixtape.
