Dee Gordon was simply delighted to score from first
In news that is not all that surprising, Dee Gordon scored from first base on a routine single hit by Martin Prado during the third inning of the Marlins' 5-2 win over the Brewers on Wednesday. It was the sort of thing we've come to expect from Gordon -- though wildly impressive nonetheless, of course.
But what sometimes gets lost in the "Well, no duh, Dee Gordon is FAST" talk is how much delight he seems to take in being able to run at supersonic speeds. Just look at him literally skipping to the dugout after tying the game, 2-2:
That's someone who can only be described as "giddy."
