After getting clipped by a foul ball, Dee Gordon told Giancarlo Stanton where to hit the ball

Giancarlo Stanton can hit the ball harder and farther than almost any living being in the cosmos. It's why he stands just one homer away from posting the ninth 60-home run season in Major League history. But when Stanton fails to get the ball in the air, watch out. Dee Gordon learned that fact in the bottom of the fourth inning of Friday's 6-5 victory over the Braves

Gordon was hanging out on the top step of the dugout when Stanton ripped a foul ball down the third-base line. Despite Gordon's speed, it still clipped the speedy infielder right in the uniform number. Gordon then had a message for which direction Stanton should try to hit it next time though:

Unfortunately, even though the advice may have helped Stanton to a multi-hit game, neither of them were dingers. Stanton may not have hit No. 60 on Friday, but he did hit No. 9.
