Watch Edwin Encarnacion's nephew try and get a roster spot by hitting a laser at his uncle
While Edwin Encarnacion is still crushing baseballs and is just three homers shy of his fourth straight 30-home run season, it appears that his nephew is looking to find his way onto the Blue Jays roster ... any way possible. While taking a few swings against his uncle in the cage, the youngster got a chance to show off for any scouts watching. He also tried to open up a roster spot by knocking Encarnacion's block clear off.
Unfortunately for Mini Encarnacion, Edwin's defensive reflexes are still pretty sharp despite playing DH most of the time. As Omar Little said, "If you come at the king, you best not miss."
