Watch Endy Chavez rob a homer in the Venezuelan League and get some 2006 NLCS deja vu
Last week, we updated you on five beloved players from MLB's past who were participating in the Winter Leagues this season. One of them was Endy Chavez, still going strong in the Venezuelan League at age 38. But, while we're very happy that Endy is currently hitting .288 for Navegantes del Magallanes, we were left with one question: How is his defense holding up?
You no doubt remember that Endy Chavez kept the Mets alive in the 2006 NLCS with one of the greatest dinger robberies of all time:
Well, thanks to commenter Lionel Orellana, we have good news: Chavez is still roaming the outfield, and he's still bringing back home runs.
