Every game is a cape-and-huge-glove game for this Royals fan
"The cape is actually just a Royals flag that I got tired of holding," says Chris Coats of his ballpark costume. "One day I just tied it around my neck. It caught on and people liked it, so I've stuck with it."
Coats is a season-ticket holder and dresses up in the cape-and-glove outfit for every game. He hasn't missed a home contest since 2004.
Coats also takes his act on the road, logging lots of miles in his car supporting the Royals away from home. He noted that his favorite ballpark away from The K is PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
