Here are the five best plays from the past weekend in MLB

The third weekend of the baseball season has come and gone, and what a busy weekend it was -- especially if you're Yasiel Puig. When he wasn't doing everything he could to ensure a young fan got a souvenir, he engaged in all sorts of shenanigans with D. Baxter the Bobcat. (No wonder he had a little trouble keeping track of the number of outs.)
But Puig wasn't the only one who was busy this weekend: The past few days were full of bat flips, birds and dingers of all sizes. In case you missed any of it, don't worry -- we assembled the five very best plays below.
The Phillies go back-to-back-to-back (to bat-flip)
Heading into the bottom of the eighth on Sunday afternoon, the Phillies and Braves were tied at 1. Exiting the bottom of the eighth, Philly was on its way to a 5-2 win. In between, there were three straight dingers courtesy of César Hernández, Aaron Altherr and Odúbel Herrera -- the last of whom capped off the fireworks with a righteous bat flip:

Joey Gallo hits one over the Popcorn Wagon
Gallo is a very, very strong man. This is a baseball truism, much like "don't pitch to Mike Trout" or "you really shouldn't touch Adrián Beltré's head."
But just how strong is the Rangers DH, exactly? Gallo's homer in the second inning of Texas' win over the Royals on Friday was the longest in baseball this season at a whopping 462 feet according to Statcast. Not even the Popcorn Wagon on the right-field concourse was safe:

Kevin Kiermaier does Kevin Kiermaier things
And now, allow us to present another weekly installment of Kevin Kiermaier Redefines Man's Relationship to Gravity:

Dee Gordon turns a dribbler into a dinger
Sure, at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Gordon doesn't have a lot of power in the traditional sense. But when you're as fast as he is, you don't really need it -- even the most innocuous of ground balls can end up as a home run:

Daniel Murphy does it again to his former team
Unfortunately for the Mets, Murphy has shifted from hitting preposterous amounts of dingers for New York to hitting a preposterous amount of dingers against New York. His latest: a first-inning grand slam that propelled the Nats to a 6-3 win at Citi Field on Sunday night:

But which of these plays was the best? Only you can answer that question -- so make your voice heard in the poll below.
