Chris Sale cannot be stopped. His left arm is a scythe and batters are just the wheat, lined up to be flayed by his fastball/slider/changeup combo.

Long before tying a Pedro Martinez record for most consecutive starts with 10-plus strikeouts, Sale was a lanky college left-hander. Did the MLB Scouting Bureau see this future when he was coming out of Florida Gulf Coast University before the 2010 MLB Draft? In short: Yes.
Before the 2017 MLB Draft starts on June 12, let's take a look back at just what the scouting reports said about the eventual Chicago White Sox first-rounder after seeing him throw eight innings in an April start.
