Giancarlo Stanton scalded a baseball a record 120.3 mph and it'll scare you just watching it

Pretty much any time Giancarlo Stanton makes contact with a baseball, he destroys it. His maximum exit velocity has been at or near the top of the Major Leagues during each of the last four seasons.
And during the Yankees' 2-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday, Stanton struck again. He obliterated a single a Statcast-estimated 120.3 mph -- the hardest hit base hit by anybody this season. It almost reached left-fielder Teoscar Hernandez on the fly, and shortstop Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was like, "Maybe I can catch tha---nope."

Stanton now has four of the six hardest hit balls in 2018 and four of the five hardest hit base hits since tracking began in 2015. We give credit to fielders for staying at their positions when he's is at the plate and not running into the clubhouse screaming for their mommys and daddys.
