Giancarlo Stanton stopped by 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to talk World Series and monster homers

One day, we'll get an October that features Giancarlo Stanton swatting dingers. Until that day comes, though, we'll just have to settle for the next best thing: listening to Stanton talk about swatting dingers, as he did in his visit to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday night.
Stanton and Kimmel talked about all manner of things, from new Marlins owner Derek Jeter to the World Series, which has Stanton -- who grew up in Southern California as a Dodgers fan -- feeling conflicted. Most importantly, though, they discussed Stanton's 2017 home run barrage, in which he fell just short of putting up the first 60-homer season since 2001 -- and apparently refused to wash his underwear during hot streaks:

But don't worry, Marlins fans -- despite noted Mets fan Kimmel's best efforts to sway the slugger to New York, Stanton rebuffed him: "I like beating up on the Mets." Exhibit A:
