Michael Young was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame and defeated a monster on the same day
There are two kinds of people in this world: people who would survive a horror movie, and people who wouldn't. A solid 95 percent of us fit into the latter category, but it turns out that former Rangers infielder Michael Young is in the former.
Before Saturday's 2-1 win over the Royals, Young was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame. He still leads the franchise in games played (1,823), at-bats (7,399), hits (2,230), runs (1085), doubles (415) and triples (55). And now he also holds the record for defeating terrifying monsters:
