10 crucial moments from Wednesday's Pirates-Cardinals NLDS Game 5

The Pirates and Cardinals fought their final battle of the NLDS at Busch Stadium on Wednesday. Rookie Gerrit Cole started for Pittsburgh and Adam Wainwright took the mound for the home team. As far as these St. Louis fans are concerned, this game was brought to you by the letter W.
David Freese went yard with one man on in the second, giving the Cards an early two-run lead and electrifying the crowd.
Starling Marte and Pete Kozma laid out for dazzling diving catches in the third and fourth, respectively.
Matt Holliday came home on a Jon Jay single, widening the Cards' lead to 3-0, and the Pirates scored their first run in the seventh frame. By the eighth, Matt Adams had realized that Freese's two-run homer looked like a lot of fun, so he decided he'd hit one of his own.
An RBI single by Pete Kozma raised the score to 6-1 in the eighth. When Wainwright clinched the strikeout that would sent the Cards to their third straight NLCS, this is how he reacted:
Fredbird was pretty excited, too.
Back in the clubhouse, the team proceeded to celebrate in the traditional way.
Party on, Wain.
The Cardinals will host the Dodgers in St. Louis for Game 1 of the NLCS on Friday.
