Marwin Gonzalez and Jose Altuve teamed up to give this young Astros fan a day to remember

Little Astros fan Jaydon Medina was given strict instructions when he went onto the field to watch batting practice before the Astros played the Blue Jays on Saturday: Stay behind the ropes -- no matter what.
Only problem was, Jose Altuve saw the little guy and wanted him to join him on the grass, closer to the cage. But no matter how much Altuve cajoled the young fan, nothing was going to make him budge. Jaydon, looking a little confused and maybe a tad scared, was steadfastly going to stay put.
So, Marwin Gonzalez took matters into his own hands -- literally. He walked over to Jaydon, scooped him up and carried him over to the batting cage, where they were greeted by a couple of players, including Altuve, who did his best to make the kid feel comfortable.

After exchanging a few pleasantries with Gonzalez and Altuve and a fist bump with Alex Bregman, Jaydon rejoined the now envious onlookers from behind the rope.
Sometimes, it pays to follow the rules.
