Gorkys Hernandez forgot how many outs there were, but made up for it by recording the third out

We all go into autopilot at our jobs sometimes. Who hasn't been daydreaming and realized they accidentally sent their boss a recipe for gazpacho instead of the quarterly earnings report?
Giants outfielder Gorkys Hernández had the baseball version of that happen to him during Friday's 6-4 win against the Dodgers. In the top of the eighth inning, the Dodgers had two on with one out when Chris Taylor lofted a fly ball to Hernandez. He camped under the ball, made the catch and then ... put his head down and started running for the infield.
But, hey Gorkys, there's only two outs:

Giants manager Bruce Bochy wasn't as calm as his outfielder. "I was screaming, believe me," he told MLB.com's Chris Haft. "He was pretty excited thinking it was the final out."
Not to worry, Hernandez was able to make up for it soon, as Austin Barnes also hit a fly ball to left field. This time, when Hernandez raced in after making the play, he double-checked that there were three outs.

Hey, at least Hernandez didn't Benny Agbayani it.
