Here's a fan showing you what not to do when you see a fair ball

There are so many unwritten rules governing foul balls that it can be hard to remember them all: no-glove catches are superior to gloved snares, you must hand the ball over to the nearest child, a great grab must be celebrated by a polite ovation, etc.

It can be confusing, I know -- but, here's a helpful tip to keep in mind while trying to parse all those fan commandments:

DO NOT TOUCH A FAIR BALL PUT INTO PLAY.

See that? Don't do that. That's incorrect.

That's the opposite of hustle. That's no-stle. Yes, it's still Spring Training, and even the fans need to get in midseason form, but that one gave B.J. Upton two free bases.

And to top it all off, he didn't even get the ball. Here's to you, guy, for reminding us all to stay in the stands:
