Here's what to expect from the Matt Moore experience

First there was David Price. Then there was Jeremy Hellickson. And now, there is Matt Moore.

The latest in a line of Rays super-prospects/future aces/bat-destroying cyborgs to reach the Majors, Moore was promoted yesterday after shredding the upper Minors to the tune of 12 wins and a 1.92 ERA in 27 starts this season.

What can we expect down the stretch from the No. 1 pitching prospect in all the land? A few quick predictions:

Sept. 12: Moore arrives in Rays clubhouse and discovers his No. 55 jersey has already been retired.

Sept. 14: In Baltimore, Moore strikes out the side in his Major League debut. On eight pitches.

Sept. 19: HBO announces that its upcoming Entourage movie will feature Vincent Chase competing against Jake Gyllenhaal for the lead role in a Matt Moore biopic.

Sept. 21: Moore starts the second half of a doubleheader against the Yankees. It's an easy choice for Joe Maddon after the rookie needs only 50 pitches to toss a shutout in Game 1.

Sept. 24: Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano names Matt Moore his starting quarterback for a tough road matchup against the Browns. No, not that Matt Moore. The real one.

Sept. 27: Moore loses a 20-inning scoreless streak four frames after umpires force him to begin pitching right-handed.

Sept. 29: Terry Francona forefeits a one-game playoff to decide the AL Wild Card when Moore is named the Rays' starter, then asks for the left-hander's autograph.
