Doc Emrick rejoined the Pirates booth because that's what the people wanted
Earlier this month, NHL Hall of Fame broadcaster Doc Emrick realized a lifelong dream by broadcasting a Pirates game -- and it was glorious. Listen to him call a double down the line like it's never been called before.
So, due to popular demand, the booth brought him back during Pittsburgh's 4-4 tie with the Red Sox on Wednesday. Doc talked hockey, his deep admiration for Andrew McCutchen -- and his mammoth home runs -- and that time he participated in Pirates' Fantasy Camp as a 65-year-old (he hit .422!).
Check out his half-inning of work in the above video.
