Ice cream party .... Rays style

It was a long time coming for Rays catcher Jose Lobaton, but his first major league home run was well worth the wait. Playing in his 59th career game, Lobaton launched a three-run shot onto Eutaw Street to give Tampa Bay a commanding lead.

His teammates handled the moment flawlessly.

First, the obligatory silent treatment. Then, after the ice was broken, maitre d' Luke Scott delivered ice cream.

It's been quite a July for Lobaton, who earlier this month was married at home plate at Tropicana Field.
